The SC Education Oversight Committee is pleased to announce the following recipients of the 2025 Data Trailblazer Awards:
These schools were selected by judges for demonstrating how they successfully used data to improve student outcomes, help families and caregivers understand student data, maintain a culture of data informed decision making, and incorporate practices that prioritize data privacy.
Twenty schools entered the competition and were judged anonymously by education professionals who scored each school and provided feedback.
“We are excited to congratulate this year’s Data Trailblazer recipients, ” EOC Executive Director Dana Yow said. “We’ve seen that when schools prioritize using student data to help guide goals, students tend to see positive results in their achievement.”
Last year’s award recipients were Joanna-Woodson Elementary School, Lakeside Middle School and Spring Hill High School.
